REPUBLICANS STAND WITH BP AGAINST SPILL INVESTIGATION

Why would republicans stand against an investigation into the Gulf oil-spill? It is no mystery to me...they are trying to protect the special interest groups that most of them own stock in.



Anybody have any other ideas?

I never bought the whole "Snuff Saddam!" thing. His trial was a complete sham in my opinion. In case you were too young to remember, here it is, but be careful, this is not for the squeamish:

Did you notice that no other faces were discernible, except that of the doomed man? I am not even sure that it is an authentic execution...did you see how they turned up his collar around his neck and carefully placed the rope around it? If it was a real execution this man appears to have been the victim of a "political assassination," a practice that has been declared to be a war-crime in the United States Of America, as well as every other civilized country.

This video is making a lot of sense. Someone is getting rich at the expense of the rest of us, and the price is becoming very dear.

SENATOR LISA MURKOWSKI IN FAVOR OF OFFSHORE OIL DRILLING

Alaskan Senator, Lisa Murkowski, a ranking member of the Energy & Natural Resources Committee, gave a long speech today at the National Press Club's, Ocean Law and Policy Conference in Washington, DC. Apparently, even In the wake of the Gulf Oil Spill, the Republican Senator is in favor of the development of arctic regions using big oil money, and specifically in favor of continued exploration and exploitation of the oil reserves in the arctic (what a surprise).She even brazenly used the retreat of the ice shelf in support of her argument, claiming it has opened up more potential reserves for the US to tap into, and a need to bolster national security defenses in that region.  I noticed that she cautiously tried to use the word "exploring" instead of  "drilling" when speaking about raping the Earth and selling her blood for a profit. Please, do me a favor and tell Senator Lisa Murkowski just what you think about her little plan to pollute, pillage and exploit our planet! I have provide and easy link to her website, just fill out the contact form and let her have it:

Assemblywoman Fiona Ma Hopes She "Won't See War In Her Lifetime..."

Assemblywoman, Fiona Ma, Representing California's 12th Assembly District was in attendance at the installation of a Veteran's flag pole in front of City Hall today. There was much beating of war drums and general military pomp. I was dumbfounded when, while being interviewed on live television, Assemblywoman Ma said, "I hope that we won't see war in my lifetime...[but I feel it is likely that I will]."

I would like to be the first to point out to the Assemblywoman that we are at war right now and have been in a constant state of war ever since the beginning of the Korean Conflict. I am shocked that an elected official of her stature would make such an outrageous and simple-minded statement. Please, do the world a favor and send the Assemblywoman an email, informing her that we are currently at war and have been for many years.
